Gregg Florence Downs founded Landscape & Lawncare Solutions in 2009 with a borrowed mower, a quarter tank of gas, and a conviction that Clover deserved a landscaper who picked up the phone. Today the company is bigger — the trucks are nicer, the crew has grown — but everything else has stayed exactly the same.

Gregg Florence Downs
A born-and-raised Carolinian, Gregg learned the trade from his grandfather's tobacco-farm tool shed and sharpened it across two decades of horticulture work before going out on his own. He still walks every new property himself — and still believes a perfect mow line is one of life's small, repeatable pleasures.
